How do I place an order on 88Source? +
Browse products, click the listing you're interested in, and click "Request a Quotation." Fill in your quantity, destination, and any specific requirements. Our team will respond with a formal quotation within 24 hours. Once you approve the quote, we'll issue a proforma invoice and begin the order process.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)? +
MOQ varies by product and supplier. Most appliance products have an MOQ of 5–20 units for standard orders. Sample orders of 1–2 units are available for qualified buyers at a slightly higher per-unit cost. MOQ is shown on each product listing and can sometimes be negotiated for repeat buyers.
Can I order product samples before committing to a bulk order? +
Yes. We strongly encourage sample orders before large purchases. Request a sample through the product listing or contact us directly. Sample orders typically ship via express courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS) and arrive within 5–10 business days. Sample costs are sometimes credited toward your first bulk order.
Can I customise products with my own branding? +
Yes. Most suppliers on 88Source offer OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) services. This includes custom logo placement, colour options, packaging design, and user manual localisation. Minimum quantities for OEM orders are typically higher — usually 50+ units. Contact us for a custom OEM quote.
How long does production take? +
Lead times depend on the product and whether it's in stock or made-to-order. In-stock items ship within 3–7 business days. Custom or large bulk orders typically have a production lead time of 15–45 days. All lead times are confirmed in your proforma invoice before payment.

What payment methods are accepted? +
We accept: International Wire Transfer (T/T), Letter of Credit (L/C) for orders over $50,000, PayPal for small sample orders, and Western Union for small transactions. All payments are processed through our secure platform and held in escrow until you confirm receipt of goods.
What are the standard payment terms? +
Standard payment terms are 30% deposit upon order confirmation and 70% balance before shipment. For established buyers with a track record of 3+ orders, we can offer 30% deposit with 70% against Bill of Lading (B/L). Letter of Credit (L/C) at sight is also accepted for large orders.
Is my payment secure? +
Yes. All payments are held in our secure escrow system and are never released to the supplier until you confirm satisfactory receipt of your order. We use bank-grade SSL encryption for all transactions. You are covered by our Buyer Protection program for the full order value.
What currencies can I pay in? +
All transactions are quoted and invoiced in USD. If you prefer to pay in another major currency (EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD), we can accommodate this — contact us and we will issue a currency-specific invoice at the prevailing exchange rate. Currency conversion fees may apply.
🚢 Shipping & Logistics
What shipping methods are available? +
We offer: Sea Freight (FCL Full Container Load and LCL Less Than Container Load), Air Freight for smaller urgent orders, Express Courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS) for samples and small orders, and Rail Freight for certain Asian destinations. We work with leading freight forwarders globally and can provide door-to-door delivery to most countries.
How long does shipping take? +
Sea freight to most destinations: 15–40 days depending on origin and destination port. Air freight: 3–7 days. Express courier: 3–10 days. Rail freight (Asia–Europe): 12–18 days. Exact transit times are confirmed at the time of shipment booking.
Do you handle customs clearance? +
We can arrange customs clearance as part of a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipment for an additional fee. Under standard EXW or FOB terms, the buyer is responsible for import customs in their country. We provide all required export documents: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and product certifications.
How do I track my shipment? +
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email. Sea freight shipments are tracked via container tracking portals. Air and express shipments are tracked through the carrier's website. For sea freight, we also provide vessel name, voyage number, and estimated arrival date at destination port.
⚖️ Disputes, Returns & Refunds
What do I do if my order arrives damaged? +
Document the damage with photos and video immediately on receipt. Do not dispose of packaging. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at disputes@88source.com with your order number and photos. We will arrange a replacement shipment or process a refund within 5 business days of claim approval.
What is the returns policy? +
Returns are accepted for: products that are defective or not as described, incorrect items shipped, and orders with significant quantity shortfalls. Returns must be raised within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping costs for defective items are covered by the supplier. Change-of-mind returns are subject to supplier agreement and buyer pays return shipping.
How long do refunds take? +
Once a refund is approved, funds are returned within 5–7 business days for wire transfer payments. The exact timing depends on your bank's processing time. We will send you a refund confirmation email with the transfer reference as soon as the refund is initiated.
My supplier is not responding. What should I do? +
If a supplier does not respond within 48 hours, contact our support team immediately at disputes@88source.com. We will escalate on your behalf. If the supplier remains unresponsive and your order has been paid, we will initiate our Buyer Protection process and arrange a full refund if the goods have not been shipped.
